Parenting can be so hard.
We put great effort into a promising new parenting idea and it doesn’t work. We pour out love on kids who don’t seem to care. We try to be so calm and kind but our kids push all our buttons and we end up yelling. We worry about where to insist and where to back off. We wonder if our kids will ever actually be friends with each other. And sometimes we feel so alone and we wish we had people we could talk to about our worries.
Parenting can be so beautiful.
Alongside the hard times, there are times when we look at our kids and feel such powerful love for them or work through something hard and come out with new energy and understanding. Sometimes we catch a glimpse of the wonderful person our child is becoming. And there are those awesome moments when we are just plain having FUN with our family.
But those good times can be overshadowed by the hard stuff – and we wish we knew how to heighten the joy and get rid of some of the angst.

I’m Saren Eyre Loosli and I’ve been there. As a mom of five kids, I’ve felt all the feels – from total overwhelm to bursts of joy, from total failure to moments of triumph, from serious frustration to deep love. Even though my kids are grown up, I still feel all those feels – but I’ve learned to deal with them better.
Over the last 20 years, I’ve used my Harvard Masters in Education combined with what I learned through trial and error in my own parenting to help thousands of families around the world.Â
I’d love to be part of YOUR parenting journey!Â

*The day and time for the weekly group sessions will likely take place towards the middle of the day on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (to coincide with lunch breaks and/or the time when kids are at school). The exact schedule will be determined after polling those who sign up to choose the time that works best for most people. You’ll want to attend in person for the best experience but there will be a recording as well as a slide deck from the presentation provided for those who are have time conflicts. We encourage participants to share the recording/slide deck with their parenting partner if he/she was unable to attend.
What are group members saying?
“I have loved working with Saren in her family coaching group. I have loved having a focused intentional space carved out of my week to make goals and create plans to implement simple – but very meaningful – changes in my family. In our private sessions each month, Saren is knowledgeable, kind, and such a good listener. She suggests practical and doable action items that have made a meaningful difference in my home and relationships with my children and husband.”
“Being part of the group and hearing about other parents’ struggles is one of the best parts of my membership. Before joining the group, I wondered if I was the only one feeling inadequate as a parent – everyone else seemed to have it all together. Now I know that I’m in good company when I feel like I can’t get anything right – and I have the support and tools I need to get to where I can feel like I’m getting a lot of things right!”
““I really like the focus on actionable items I could immediately implement. It’s one thing to hear about good parenting ideas but it’s different and so helpful to be part of a group that helps me actually follow through on making changes.”

More quotes from those who’ve participated in coaching with Saren:
“Saren is so relatable, and truly understood my troubles. Her experience really helped me with navigating my own path. She helped me get organized and I left armed with do-able solutions.”
“After our individual session, I felt equipped to handle the situation we discussed. Saren was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared. I felt heard and understood. I felt like it was a safe place to be vulnerable and honest. Her advice was spot on and really helped me accomplish what I needed to accomplish. I took her advice and applied it to many areas of my life. I had never talked to anyone in a coaching scenario before and was pleased to find it so helpful.”
“I really appreciated the chance to verbalize my thoughts and concerns about the relationship I have with my teenager. It’s amazing how quickly ideas surface when given the chance to council with another about it.”
“Saren’s questions were helpful in guiding me to narrow down and identify a single issue to work on. It was good hearing her give sample dialogue so that I could envision and image how a possible conversation could go. Prior to that, I didn’t really know how to guide a conversation with my child deeper.”
“It was so great to talk to someone about my son’s specific situation. Parenting books are helpful but I needed specific help for my son. Saren was so encouraging and it was so good to hear from her that she thinks I’m doing a good job and that the things I’m facing are hard. It was very validating.”
“I trust Saren so much after years of ‘knowing’ her because of Power of Moms and Power of Families and her podcasts. I knew her approaches would be in line with what would work for me and that is so important to me when I’m seeking counsel!”
“I found Saren’s practical solution-focused approach to be very helpful. I like how Saren really seemed to understand, care, and want to help.”
